At the beginning of March, Austria’s oldest and largest sledge ride takes place at the Jufen-Maria Alm. The historical horn and long sledges are loaded with hay, wood, cabbage bacon, chests, pots and much more and dare the dangerous journey into the valley.

This traditional event gives you an insight into the working life of the woodworkers and farmers of the past.
